Hostels are widely spread around Australia, especially in the main cities. There are over a thousand. You can find them in the middle of the bush or facing the famous Bondi Beach.

Generally, you will share the room with up to eight people, also toilet and shower facilities. Breakfast may be included in the price. Also most hostels have kitchen facilities.

Just be careful with your belonging whereas you will share the room with people that you may not know well. Generally wardrobes/cupboards cannot be locked.

Hostels are definately a good option for those who area travelling on a limited budget. As well as saving you money, hostels are a great way to meet other travelers.
